Living in Central Florida means dealing with high humidity, seasonal pollen, and intense afternoon storms. Over time, these elements take a major toll on our homes—especially on exterior siding, roofs, and screened pool enclosures. We recently wrapped up a massive exterior restoration project for a stunning local estate that was fighting a losing battle against green algae and dark mold buildup.
Here is a look behind the scenes at how we brought this gorgeous property back to life using professional low-pressure soft washing and high-pressure rinsing.
We started from the top down. Cleaning upper-story siding and roof overhangs requires specialized equipment and a careful touch to avoid damaging the paint or forcing water behind the soffits.
Our technician used a professional soft wash setup to apply an eco-friendly, algae-killing solution to the exterior walls. This breaks down the organic growth at its roots rather than just blastinmg the surface.
Once the solution loosened years of baked-on grime, we carefully rinsed down the high peaks and gutters from a secure vantage point on the lower roof sections.
Moving to the front of the estate, we tackled the grand entryway. White pillars and covered porches are highly susceptible to spiderwebs, mud daubers, and dark mildew. A gentle, thorough wash completely brightened up the curb appeal.
Next up was the backyard oasis. In Florida, a dirty pool cage doesn't just look bad—it drops organic debris right into your pool filter, causing chemical imbalances and cloudy water. This enclosure had heavy green algae blooming across the top support beams.
Our team got up on the frame to thoroughly treat and pressure wash the structural aluminum cage and the surrounding screens.
The difference is night and day. With the house siding bright white again and the pool enclosure completely clear of mold, the backyard pool area went from a high-maintenance eyesore to a sparkling, pristine paradise ready for summer entertaining.
